Protect your Prophecy

*PROTECT YOUR PROPHECY

_20 excesses of human behaviour that makes our prophecies vulnerable to fatal enemy attacks_

*8. Impatience*: Greatness and success in life is not achieved overnight: it is achieved in an undulating process over a period of time. The journey to success in life therefore requires patience.

Patience is the waiting vehicle that will transport you from your current situation in life to your expected or desired destination in life.

Without patience, you go ahead of yourself, force yourself to do things and eventually commit fatal mistakes that ultimately denies you of God's perfect will on your life.

The pressure from people, circumstances and your own mindset can force you into deadly shortcuts. Patience is a virtue that is missing in a lot of young people today. A lot of young people want to own the whole world just today. It is no surprise that the percentage of deaths of young people have risen in our generation more than ever.

King Saul lost his kingdom and God's favour because he was not patient. He forced himself to do things he was not ordained for.     (1 Samuel 13:7-14). Patience is a virtue.

It took 22 years for David to be King of Israel even though he had been anointed for it. It took over 25 years for Abraham to receive God's promise of a son with Sarah. It took 3 attempts each for both Nana Akuffo Addo and Late John Evan A. Mills to be presidents of Ghana. Patience eventually wins.

[NLT] - Hebrews 10:36
_Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised._

OVER-EXCITEMENT

*PROTECT YOUR PROPHECY  (8)*
_20 excesses of human behaviour that makes our prophecies vulnerable to fatal enemy attacks_

*7. Overexcitement*: Every good thing done in excess releases problems. This will shock you, but the reason why some people have their joy truncated is because of over excitement.

Being excited is a sensation of the heart working in the mind and being expressed in the body. When you are over joyful, you can lose the balance of your thinking and throw yourself into a meaningless problem.

I have seen young people lose their lives by drinking excessively and driving or hanging around a car just because their football team won a game. I have seen a young man in excitement jump into the sea and get drowned.

When you are joyful, dangerous things can become normal to you and force you into an action that will lead you into problems. Most people who are now wallowing in the addictions to alcohol, drugs, promescuity and crime picked up these habits in an unguarded moment of over-excitement.

In a highly charged atmosphere of excitement, you can do the wrong things and say the wrong things. You can release secrets and kowtow to ungodly pressure to sin.

Japhthah out of excitement coming from one victory in war made a binding promise which he later regretted but had to fulfill anyway. He had promised to sacrifice the first thing that came out to meet him from his house. In making this promise out of excitement, he never contemplated that his only daughter could be the sacrificial lamb (Judges 11:29-35)

It is good to be joyful and cheerful. Sorrow and gloominess kills you slowly and steals your strength. But uncontrolled excitement can push you into an uncontrollable problem.

Don't just do anything because you are excited. Don't just say anything because you are happy. Your moment of joy can make you vulnerable to mistakes that will soon take away that joy itself.

Be wise in excitement because over-excitement can truncate your God-given excitement.

THE LOVE OF MONEY

The Love of Money

when the Bible says the "love of money is the root of all evil", it is not saying that money in itself is evil. The same Bible declares that "money answers all things". We all like money and it is my prayer that you receive multiple sources of financial income.

However, the love of money has to do with inordinate lust for it that will make a person do anything, fair or foul, to make money. The love of money has sent many to early graves and has truncated many destinies in mental homes and prisons.

The rising spate of crime and spiritual buffonery is as a result of the love of money. People are willing to abandon common sense and human empathy as long as it will bring home some undeserved money.

Why corruption in government, church and the world at large? Its all because someone wants to take the slightest advantage to milk money out of others.

Why would someone sell rubber rice? Why will someone use poisonous chemicals to preserve food? Why will someone smsell expired drugs and food? Why will a judge and police overlook obvious crime? Why would a journalist distort a story? Why will politicians lie, insult and accuse each other? - Its all about the _love of money._

Today, so-called Prophets of God chant money in church and give out lotto numbers in the Name of Jesus. Today, young people sell their souls to the devil under many occultic groups and secret societies. Human sacrifices and spiritual manipulations has become the order of the day. Today, fetish priests and occults are on television preaching quick money solutions.

Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. This money he didn't even eat a dime of it. The love of money drove him to a shameful death. (Matt. 26:14-16). Balaam the Prophet was nearly struck dead by an Angel because he chose to be influenced by money rather than the perfect will of God.

There are many Judas Iscariots, Balaams, Gehazis, Annanais and Sapphiras in the earth today who are willing to do anything and everything to get some money. The outcome is rising crime, death and destruction of souls.

I recently heard a song with lyrics thar goes like - "if i no get this money, wey tin I gain?" To wit - if i don't get money, what have I gained?. I thought the Bible rather taught that even if we gained the whole world and lost our soul it profits us nothing.

Biblical principles are being dragged in the mud, morality is losing its stand and humans are no longer thinking like we were created in the image of God all because *money* has become a god bigger than Almighty God Himself.

No wonder God is compared to money in this scripture :
[NLT] - Matthew 6:24
_“No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money._

Work hard and be honest in your dealings: don't allow money to block your destiny : it is God who gives power to make wealth and adds no sorrow. May God bless you financially in Jesus Name
